Deontay Wilder beat Derek Chisora at the O2 Arena in what was billed as Chisora's retirement bout. Wilder gets the win. And somehow that is the least strange thing about the entire night.
The officiating was bizarre. A corner man charged into the ring during the fight. Two heavyweight gas tanks in their 40s just throwing bombs for the distance. And a post-fight broadcast that spent the entire interview trying to talk a retired man out of retirement while his wife was sending a very clear message from ringside.
